The DDN-888W was redesigned from-the-ground-up, with consumers’ ever-increasing demands for high quality navigation and multi-media technology in mind.  The DDN-888W’s new user-interface has been improved and is very intuitive – to the point of almost no User Manual being required to get new users up-and-running. The menu displays are eye-catching, streamlined with useful shortcuts, and very simple to navigate - making users’ in-car experiences enjoyable ones.

Display and Protect

The new DDN-888W features a fully-detachable, jumbo 6.95-inch WVGA high-resolution (384,000 pixels) touch-screen display that also doubles as an effective anti-theft deterrent and protects your investment. It's detach/re-attach mechanism is durable and built to last.  The detached touch-screen can easily be used as a stand-alone GPS unit (car charger and mount sold separately, Model No. ACC-PNP888). It's external Flash Drive, SD Card or external hard drive Plug-In capabilities insure instant access and flawless connectivity to varied multimedia content. Best of all, the DDN-888W’s WVGA display features Touch-Slide Sensor Technology that gives the user full access to menus and sub-menus by simply sliding a finger onto the touch-screen’s surface.

 Different Zones for Different Tastes

The Dual Zone feature on the new DDN-888W is truly an awesome one. It makes it conveniently easy to send two separate sources of media to two completely separate locations inside a user’s vehicle.  A driver and/or front-passenger, for example, can choose to listen to radio or a different media format in the front of the vehicle while a DVD movie plays independently in the rear through a flip-down or head-rest monitor(s) (sold separately).  With strong, clean and completely separate audio/video signals to make this task possible, the Dual Zone feature on the DDN-888W assures users’ ability to satisfy different tastes while keeping their driving experiences fun, entertaining and relatively bicker-free.

Rich Multimedia Content Through Enhanced USB & SD Card Slot Connectivity

The DDN-888W is a genuine, full-fledged entertainment system that supports a vast array of media formats.  On the video front, it easily supports DVD MPEG 1, 2 and 4, XVID, DIVX, and JPEG. For audio, the CD, MP3 and WMA formats are standard. Such wealth of options allows users to connect an external hard drive device (up to 500GB), a flash drive, or an SD card (up to 32GB) directly into the unit’s USB or SD card slots to bring A LOT of uncluttered multi-media content into their vehicles for a more pleasant and varied daily drive.
